THANK GOD!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I survived all the holidays and it is all over again for another year! If I had any energy left, I would be dancing for joy! And now spring is just around the corner.

Glad you survived Kell. Is that another year, New Year's party or moving things into you hoop-house. It won't feel like spring around the corner later this afternoon, they are calling for 4"-7" of snow and possible freezing rain. Weather is so fickle lately!!!

the holidays Deb.......... they get too much for me. too much of a good thing I guess.......LOL! too much eating, too much drinking, too much spending, too many stores, and too much togetherness........LOL!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I totally agree, especially this year. The togetherness was overwhelming. I'm so glad it is over and now we can move on to spring. Like Deb, our weather has been very strange. Still no snow for us and temps rising into the low forties by the weekend. Something is bound to happen that we aren't going to like (snow or ice), but not much we can do about it. Deb, hope you don't get too much snow. We really need moisture, but I'm not wanting to see it come down in solid form.

We had 1/2" of rain, got rid of the 9" of snow we had over Christmas, now we are getting socked again, 1"-3" expected, already have 2" on picnic table, so who knows..... Spring, give us a break!

(Zone 6a)

bah humbug! and winter is just around the corner.....spring is too far away:)

Gee I thought the Ohio Valley was suppose to get the brunt of this storm but they keep upping our snowfall. It went from 2"-4" to 4"-7" with chance of freezing rain. Had almost 50 degree weather also that melted all our snow from Christmas day. Good news DH found my old glasses that was lost in the snow piles on Christmas day, bad news we had paid for new pair about 3 days before he found my old ones. Oh well atleast I can see to read again.

For spring we must wait three months.
I am happy to have GH and WG.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I really feel for you all in the sub freezing and snow ranges. Thanks god when it gets really cold here it doesn't last but a few days at a time.

Donna is so right...we just get enough cold weather here to mess up all the plants and then it moves on. As of yesterday my Mom still has Brugs blooming in her yard but it looks like "Old Jack Frost" might get them this weekend....it's supposed to get into the 20's even along the water of Biloxi....here it comes again Donna. Roz get the fire going in the GH cause it's gonna be cold out here in the country!!!

I am glad to see all of you made it through, I can't wait for spring. I too was very worn out, no dancing for me either Kell. I just know somebody broke in my house and trashed it, my family wouldn't do this to me and walk off. I got everything down and packed up to go back to the shop, now if I can get Scott to take it back out.
