Know any good seed suppliers???? I would like to start some from seed myself!
I'll let you know as soon as I find them, to be sure. Since I didn't know what I was looking for until just a minute ago, it was kinda hard to search for seeds. But a good bet would be to check Garden Watchdog, which I'll do too with enough time.
http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/midatl/msg052355504403.html This does not encouraging for getting seeds, wail, wail. BTW, hope it isn't verboten to post another garden site here. I didn't even go into it, this was just the first link that showed up on my Google search.
A little further down on the google search you might have found the following from here http://davesgarden.com/t/29412/ I think that with most hybrids you will likely not get exactly what you are looking for, but it can be fun trying.
Cool, George4Tax, I'll keep those little babies well protected over the winter and maybe I'll have something to trade in the spring.
At Laguna Beach, stellapathic, isn't your climate pretty mild? Do you get hard frosts? I bet they could almost last more than one season. I have had them winter over during mild winters here. One year I had two hanging baskets of them and after winter them over in a cool greenhouse, I started watering them and got them started again. I put them the second year right into the ground and they looked great. I have even taken cuttings.
Lenjo, yes I'm trying to winter these over. I cut them way back as the trailers were damaged in the last cold and rain (I think it was 40 degrees that night). All the growth protected by surrounding bacopa was just fine, so I'll see if the surrounding foliage will keep it that way for the winter. Moved it to under an eave so that the winter rains don't rot it. And we'll hope.
Gentlemen
I have been trying to root cuttings from (millon bells) with no luck. Ive used cuttings with and without rooting powder, three differant colors , still no luck. The cuttings look good for about five or six days and fall over. I could use some help.
Thanks Newseed
