Arlene... This site posts each current month, so January should be up tomorrow. (Scroll down to see the moon signs for each day of the month.) http://www.gardeningbythemoon.com/month.html

Arlene, I'm confused - when I click on it, January 2003 comes up. Friday and Saturday are recommended for planting above ground plants as well as the 8th and 9th.

it changed right after midnight

There are many notions about planting by the phases and position of the moon in the sky.

Some of them date back to antiquity. The names of our moons (wolf moon, etc), date back to ancient Greece.

A fellow named Rudolph Steiner developed something called Biobynamics, which makes use of the moon in determining what to plant when, as well as many other ideas related to organic agriculture.

Thanks to all who gave us info. I have used the phases of the moon, to cut my hair, grow things, etc., for many years. Kept a record and it really has some merit!
