I just wanted to get a jump start on the day and post....

I have spent the entire day reading up on flaxseed oil, egads.....if it doesnt just sound like a miracle substance...it aids in just about anything you can think of.
just take a look at this article and tell me you're not impressed!

Well, I did go out and buy some. in case you're interested in my comparison shopping: trader joe's had the best deal, a 16 oz bottle for 7.99 - Nature's had the worst deal, an 8 ounce bottle for 7.99 - Fred meyer was in between.
this is for the actual oil - which I intend to use in salad dressing......
the gelcaps looked like horse pills, and since I have a problem swallowing pills I had to pass it up. besides it says you have to take about 5 or 6 to come up with the 1 tablespoon that seems to cure just about everything....

I'm still pumped about the prism, Joann, I know what you're saying about it being hard with the family, but any diet is hard with the family, and they are just going to have to learn to eat the way I am going to eat. since I am the cook, my way is THE way, if they dont like it, they can cook their own meals. I've decided that I am just going to be selfish. I am giving the family another couple of days to eat up all the Christmas candy-chocolat and cookies, and then whatever is left is going down the disposal, same for any ice cream etc. Im serious by golly, and im not going to let them sabotage my efforts!
