Tiny Chrysalis...

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in Wildlife. I have no idea what made this...It is on a 'line' about an inch long and was blowing all over with the wind...I guess they really are pretty hardy. Anyone know what this might someday be??

A necklace?

I'm guessing it's a spider egg sac. I have never seen one that looks like that, but I found a similar one on google. It's not transparent like yours but it might change with age.

Gosh, I hope it's not spiders since I'm thinking of bringing it inside. LOL!!! This little chrysalis is actually a shiny brown like a june bug carapace but it does get transparent in the sun...I tried a couple more pictures so I'll see how they turn out

Looks like an egg sac of some sort to me. That's pretty cool, whatever it is.

Did you take this thing in?
Did it turn in to something yet?

I did bring it in but it doesn't seem to have changed. It's still hanging in the jar. I wonder if it's alive...it's been 2 weeks since I first saw it.
