We really are lucky Hibiscus...I'm happy to live in Floida.
Here's the same bud this afternoon. I just love watching the tendrils unfurl and change!
Which one is it? Going to be yellow? Suspense is killing me.........open tomorrow, I hope!
This is Double stuffed Candida. I do have an unknown brug from Arlene getting ready to bloom for the first time...the plant is taller than me but the Y is only an inch long! I spotted the buds just today! Anticipation!!
I love the color of the first picture. That is what I look like..........."envy" green!! Wish my brugs were blooming. You have had some nice ones. Hope the pictures keep coming.

Is Double Stuffed and Candida Double White one and the same?
Hi Glory, was wondering where you were. I think they are the same. At least I've been thinking of them as one.

I was just wondering if this was just another name for the Double White Candida. I have had my Double White for a long time but this Double Stuffed was a new name for me.
I'm not sure, but I think the stuffed part might have been added when we talked about how the skirt stayed stuffed up inside, unlike Species and others whose skirts drop. I'm pretty sure Candida Dbl. White and Double Stuffed are the same. Someone will come along and let us know for sure.

Shirley is right. They're both the same. Stuffed is just a nick name we started calling it.
