The discarded EEs are up and growing

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

Some of you may remember that last fall Powell Gardens where I do some volunteer work discarded several bulbs that I thought were EEs. One had growth on it so I knew it was but not what cultivar. Cultivar still is unknown, but the rest of them now have leaves. All appear to be the same cultivar. Maybe that is why they were discarded. They just had too many of them to keep. The leaves seem to be dark in the middle and green around the edges. So far they are only about 2 1/2" tall above the soil line at the most and some aren't that big. I'm battleing aphids constantly on them. I've used alcohol on swabs, wet soapy washcloths, etc. with no long term results.

I bet they are really going to be beautiful!
Wish I had some ladybugs to send you for an aphid attack.

Thank you much, Root. This is a new venture for us so it's exciting to get something we don'have already. Can I give you some daylilies or something else in return?
