living were you have flowers all year in the back yard
I have only lived in flordia for a few years and still get a kick out of having blooms in the middle of winter
It sure is nice
NICE! Wish we were there, supposed to get 6" of snow by evening!
Nice red hibiscus. You really are lucky to have flowers all year Pete. I'd like to give it a try someday. At least someplace where I could have them about 9 or 10 months of the year.
You're dreaming of a white Christmas... ;)
Pete,
It's about 75º here right now but supposed to have a cold front coming through.
Merry Christmas to all!!!!
Oh Glory, I'm at a loss for words. Not even going to get up to freezing today. I wouldn't mind if we had some snow, but it is just dirty brown around here now. Merry Christmas to you too.
hi there, we had some snow falling around 3:00 this afternoon....so that means there should be some powder on Whistler, Liz! have a good one! Elaine
Glory.... it rained here from 6pm to about 5am my back yard is underwater and its going to get cold tonite down in the 40's. I use to laugh at people who said it was cold when in the 40's not now more this [profanity removed] yankee is freezing any thing under 50......LOL
Cold? It was about 0 F yesterday evening here...
We had 7" of snow by this morning, still coming down, 31 degrees, sure have our white christmas!
Also buried in snow. We drove home from my in-laws yesterday afternoon and made our way through quite a lot of snow. I was going to make Evert's "ice lantern" for my kids, had the bucket all filled with water out on my back deck. Now it is completely buried out there! LOL!
Not even a hint of snow here. Cold, below freezing, but sunny clear skies as far as the eye can see. It was a rather brown Christmas here.
No snow in Iowa and so far it is the driest December on record and may be the warmest. We really do need some moisture.
