This plant is new to me. My husband bought it for me on a recent trip to Ft. Benning, Ga. Does it bloom? I just found out what its' name is. Anything special to care for it? Thank you.

We have one planted in the garden and it's blooming for the first time this summer. Spectacular big white blooms. Maybe because I watered it more than usual this year. We live in Fremont, CA. Our China Doll was once a house plant, now it's about 15 feet tall.

The pot mine was in plugged up, so the plant was totally submerged in a bog. It seemed to do fine. It had gotten leggy, so I stuck it in the ground where it has withered and died. I bought a replacement at Target and I will prune it appropriately to stay in the pot. Please post a photo of the bloom.

Here's a photo of my Radermachera sinica - it's the
foreground tree - its white blooms are visible in the middle of the photo

Not bad for a house plant! How about a closeup of the flower - post it at http://plantsdatabase.com/go/54477/
