I spent the morning making fudge. I have many tried-and-true recipes. Unfortunately a few are from friends that made me promise not to share them. So I was trying to work out a couple variations on my cherry and chocolate mint fudge that would allow me to salve my conscience (so I wouldn't be so selfish).
The cherry fudge I created this morning turned out pretty grainy. Edible, but not good. Have to keep working on that one. The mint was OK; not very mint-y.
On the brighter side, the peanut butter fudge, the dark chocolate fudge, and the praline fudge turned out so good I don't know if any will last until the last of the family arrives next week :)
Anyone have any other types of fudge they make? I would love to add to my repertoire (and my family and friends would reap the benefits :D
