Love your picture; how old and how tall?
arlene
I guess it's about 5 or 6 years old and maybe 4 feet tall
I just love these trees! I've been wanting to get one for years, but I never see them for sale around here. I found a couple in catalogs, but haven't ordered yet. Thanks for the picture. Rose
I have been "eying" this unique tree at lowe's for months, after seeing this page and the comments I am definitely going to purchase one tomorrow (maybe even 2 of them). I just can't decide which ones to buy!
Roshana, I have also wanted a contorted hazel for a long time, and just a couple of days ago found some small, young ones for sale online from Forestfarm.com. Shipping is always a bit of a risk (mine hasn't arrived yet), but the ones in stock at my local nursery run between $89 - $149 each when they have them, so I figured it was worth a try. Wish me luck! :-)
I just love the look and have always wanted one also. I just saw them yesterday for about $46.00, now that I know this is a good price I am going back to that landscaper. Thanks for the info.
Rose 127,
Welcome to Dave's Garden. I have been admiring HLWS for several years. At the moment I have a corkscrew willow where I would really like to have a HLWS.
Oh well, someday!
