Can't get to DavesGarden at home!

A day or two after my DS downloaded a file-sharing program we started having trouble accessing some internet sites. At first, we could get to main site pages, like msn.com, ebay.com, etc., but couldn't get to any of their linked pages. So the first thing I tried was to empty my temporary internet folder, and everthing was fine again for a few days. Then we couldn't get to any sites anymore.

So, DS uninstalled his file-sharing program, and I used ad-aware and spybot to clean up the mess it (and ghosts of other file-sharing programs) left, including xupiter, bonzi-buddy, gator, etc. ugh!

What a mess! It sure feels good to have control back of my IE and searches, but I'm STILL having problems.

Now, everything works fine except for one thing - I can't access two of my favorite sites and DS can't get onto one of his. All of these sites are subscription sites, including DavesGarden! (I can still access from work and from MIL's machine).

I've reset all my internet options back to their defaults so I have almost no security, but there has to be a switch somewhere that I'm missing.

Any ideas?
