Compare the leaves

Tennille, GA(Zone 8b)

no the leaves don't look the same
but what do you think it could be?
all the nurseries here call it a bauhinia tree!

Tennille, GA(Zone 8b)

there are as many as 300 species of bauhinia trees, shrubs and vines.

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Yeah there are but what I know, all of them have leaves like in the picture I posted a link to.

Maybe I am wrong, and it is a Bauhinia. But at least it isn't B. monarda. The flowers look like some plant belonging to Bignoniaceae. Could you post the pic to ID forum? http://davesgarden.com/f/plantid/

Feel free to post any other photos of plants you are unsure of there too.

I have some seeds for this in both a pink& a white.any certian way they should be started?was going to grow in large planter about wine barrel size.

Soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours, then plant 1,5 cm deep. Sprouts (and grows) fast.
