I have dozens of unplanned Rose of Sharon/Althea around the property. Most are going to go soon, either to new homes or to the men who come by once a week and take away the big piles of branches, prunings, old furniture, etc.
They range in heigh from a foot to 15 feet or more. The colors I remember are white, pink and violet, all with red centers, but there's no way to tell the color now. They are free for the digging up and taking.
