What a surprise!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Look what I found today while straightening up in the greenhouse. There are two little buds on a cutting of Shredded White that Gloria sent me a couple months ago. The picture makes the plant and buds appear larger than they actually are. The large bud is only about an inch long. It sure is going to be peculiar looking to see a shredded white bloom on this little plant.

Cool Frannie. Just be careful that the blooms aren't so heavy that they break the fragile plant.

Shredded is a real nice plant. Smells real good and blooms all the time. Wait till the flower opens Frannie. It's a conversation piece.

Congrats Brugnanny. Gloria has some very healthy plants. The Candida Double White she gave me bloomed when it was about 8" tall. I had to prop up the bloom to keep it off the ground.

Congrats! can't wait to see it open!

I am going to watch this little one. I probably will eventually have to prop up the little branch with something and I will take another picture when it blooms.

I Shredded White it's name or is that a type? what does it mean?

Woodspirit,
Shredded White is a type of Brug. It kinda looks like rags hanging off the branch.
