Hawaiian Ti Plant, Good Luck Plant, Ti Plant (Cordyline fruticosa)
Your images look more like Convallaria fruticosa (Hawaiian Ti Plant) http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53151/
If you want the image moved, respond here.
I think growin is right... Cordyline fruticosa (Convallaria?)
I think it was briefly changed to Convallaria for a moment...and then back.
good to know as I am going to be doing an article on Cordylines in the near future... doing one on Dracaenas now, which is why I noticed this photo. My guess is that user is no longer around and I would just move it where it belongs. You have that authority?
Not any more.
Actually, this it THE true form..and all the rest are cultivars. Mine, and this are the only TRUE species C.fruticosa here. The others should be removed as unnamed cultivars. The wild plants are all green with wider leaves.
Can someone please help me in caring for my Hawaiian Ti I just brought home? I brought home two rootballs with about 1 1/2" stick showing, and put them in pots inside my house (about 70-71 deg) used a 'tropical soil' mix....today, a week later there is a small amount of grey fir on the top of the soil and around one of the roots that is going down into the soil. Can some one PLEASE help me to save these plants? I really LOVE them and so wanted a few for my gardens/house. Thanks! greenthumbrn@gmail.com
