House of Friends

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

This is how it looks now, it has been filled by so many of my new friends Gloria, Shirley, Sue, Susie, Terry, Kyle, and Dee. All these people have been so good to me, and I can't tell you how much all of you mean to me. Now the only thing I want for Christmas is.......Peace! This is a wonderful place, we have so many good people here. Life is to short to let petty things come between us, believe me I know. There is a impressive body of knowledge here, I have learned alot from you guys, somethings I wish I hadn't learned, I understand the trust issues, I came to you all with the issues, and even after a bit of time still there are some that don't trust me and that is OK I understand. The thing is there is alot of history here, and that should be put aside, we have lost some good people to this battle. So I am asking, one last time think about everything, do you really want to lose friends over differances, for instance not everyone belongs to the same faith or political party, but we still are friends with them. What makes this any differant? Now that I have gotten this off my chest, I will tell you all something, not even my best buds know, only one here knows. I have battled cancer twice, I am 36, and I have found three lumps. So believe me life is to short, enough said.

Tracey, can I move in with you? That is a great greenhouse you have there. Is the red plant in the back the Justicia or the other one you posted about? Beautiful.

Hi Susie........glad to see you here. It has been too long.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

That is it, Brazilian Red Cloak. I have two more of them but from where I was standing you can't see them. Those are the ones I will be cutting on a little later. I had those brought back for me so I could share them. I took a couple of pieces of it to Susie and she showed me how to fix it up. Thank you for the prayers, I will need them to get through the holiday's.

Nice GH. Your plants look great.

Hope you get through this ok.

Tracey, your words carry an excellent message, life is way to short to let good freinds dissapear from your life.

We are a big family here, and if you think about it, families do fight. But there is to much love for any of us to walk away over a difference of opinions.
Plus you guys are way to much fun!!!

Tracy ,you will be in my thoughts and prayers
and can only hope that everything will settle down and all of us get back to doing what we love

Tracey,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Even though I have not faced this battle there are other battles just as devestating and I have battled that my whole life. Like you I do not like conflict in my free time, there is enough of that in life and at work. Peace, what a wonderful thought!!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

CC, I couldn't have said it any better.

Anybody got any cuttings of an olive branch?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I sent all mine out a while back.

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

Tracey, you are so brave to post something that you haven't even told your best friends, not to mention I feel your post comes straight from the heart. I know we haven't had the chance to become friends, but I hope one day we will.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Just my luck - soon as I ask for something, nobody has any left.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Roz, I found another, check your mail.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm hear to say that if I need to send out an olive branch to anyone, all they need to do is write to me. I've always said that if I'm wrong about something, I'll be the first to apologize. I do think that this is the season to get things squared away, but feel that whatever problems there are, if there are any, it should be between the people involved. I really don't want to know what problems others have. The holidays are stressful enough without reading about personal problems, between others, online. I wish everyone here a wonderful Holiday Season filled with love and peace.

Edited to say that my post was not in any way referring to Tracey's problems. I have all the compassion in the world for anyone who has health problems. Tracey, I know you know that I wish the best for you and any other DG folks here that need my wishes and prayers.
