Look what is blooming now!

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

I now have 3 different brugs with flower on them. This one is Tequila Sunrise with about a dozen blossoms on it. I received this one as a cutting in September. The other one is an Isabella that was also a cutting I received in Sept. The third is the yellow that bloomed before of unknown partenage.

The Tequila Sunrise started out vibrant yellow and has turned a wonderful orange.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

very pretty color and the name really fits

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Great colors! Does that flower open up wider at night? Or is that a "spider" Brug?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Wow beautiful bloom.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I really like this one. You've done a great job with your gardens.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

Oh...this is now on my wish list!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Vredfish.... hint hint... isn't florida suncoast near you?
FlSuncoast i remember when Cala sent you these cuttings, you've done a great job with them.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Paintedlady, it opens wider at night.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

Yes, FlSuncoast lives about an hour away. Guess I will need to take a trip!! LOL

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

vredfish, come on down, :-) Where in Tampa do you live? My grandchildren live in Bradenton. I know it isn't far, but car trips are out of the question for me so I don't get to see them often as their Mom doesn't drive. (Son and DIL are seperated).

This is a beautiful brug! I think it may be this orange due to the cool wet weather we have had lately. Looks like my whole yard will be in bloom with brugs by Christmas. I think almost every plant I have that was started from cuttings now has blooms starting. I LOVE BRUGS! LOL

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

FLSuncoast I live, what they say is "North Tampa". But I am only 5 miles up from the Bucks Stadium. It's the Carrollwood area. We must get together after the holidays...I'm in retail...UGH!! I would love to visit you sometime and see those beautiful brugs!

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

I know exactally where you are! I use to live up that way. My foster-Mom lives off of Waters on the other side of the airport.

Please do come and visit! I would love that.

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks, I will take you up on that!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

FlSunCoast - I can't believe how fast your brugs have grown!! It seems like we just saw pictures of how you were mapping out your new garden. Those brugs sure must be happy in Florida. I'd love to see the Tequila Sunrise fully open if you happen to get another picture of it.

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

Poppysue, it's a moon baby, LOL! I haven't been able to go out at night as it has rained every night since it started blooming. I bet the plant itself isn't 3 feet tall. If it lets up tonight I'm gonna sneak out and take some pics, or should I say I'll talk DH into it for me, LOL.

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

Here is the evening shot of Tequila Sunrise. This one is of the entire plant. Remember this cutting was sent to me and was planted on 9-5-02. It was moved to the larger pot about 6 weeks ago. Look at it now! It's covered with blooms! This one plant has made my DH a real brug lover.

Here is the dark orange blossom. It is just a few days older than the lighter one. I think the coolness we were having when it first opened went a long way in helping create that bright orange.

It's a beauty. No matter what the color is. Would be nice if it could be the pumpkin color though. Definitely a keeper.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

mine wasn't that dark during the summer, this is gorgeous! Well done Eric, Mike and Annie!!

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

My wish list keeps growing! The color is rich and gorgeous.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

It is a beauty. Mine opened after I brought it in the basement. The flowers darkened to a tangerine-orange. They lasted a long time too. Nice pictures FlSunC!! Your plants look great.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

So glad to see these pictures, was wondering what it would look like. Thanks tig for letting me know that DxS L had been renamed, and just in time to look at these beautiful pictures. WOW, I can hardly wait until spring.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

remember, that's the fall color, it's more golden during the summer.

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

Golden is good also, LOL but I do love this pumkin orange. Seems perfect for the fall, LOL.
