Good morning. I didn't expect to be the first one here. Are you all outside working like I should be? My endurance ride was in very pretty country on a pretty sunny day, light wind, wildflowers, etc. In camp however there were millions of gnats that made clouds in front of our faces, flew up our noses and into our eyes, and bothered the horses too, especially getting into their ears. We used a lot of fly wipe this weekend. The mosquitos came out too and had a banquet. I have a few very itchy bites. If anyone has an herbal remedy please post it on the health forum. I have not found any over the counter remedies that work on me. Today will be in the lower-mid 70's and hopefully the wind is over. I've got the garden gravity watering system going so need to get busy weeding the wet sections. Hubby has the ditch from the new well to the house dug except where it will go through the flower bed. The pump will be installed on Wednesday, and when the rest of the plumbing changes are complete we will have enough water for a small oasis. We still can hardly believe that we got almost 50 gallons a minute at only 75 ft. Saved enough on the depth to go ahead with the pump, extra pressure tank, pipe and fittings this year instead of next. Today I need to go ride the horse that was resting at home this weekend.
