dumb me

You'll never guess what I did today...trying to be kind to a new Bruggie in the Mississippi area. I was trying to find an area on my Shredded White to give this lady and by mistake cut the cane that held the Biloxi Belle and Shredded White seed pod. I was so upset with my self.#*$@
I took the cane and put it into some damp sphagnum moss.... lets hope it roots....the pod is about 2 inches long.

Bummer,I did a stupid thing,not to a brug but to a rhody.I wanted to cut the dead area out(I got it at HD for 3 bucks)Well,I got out my big loppers and whosh,I cut off the good part

Glory, I did the same thing!!! Cut off a limb holding my candida double white x butterfly pod. it didn't make it. I hope yours does!! and cc, you can do it!

Glory, I took some pretty big cuttings with pods on them, and they are rooting and the pods have stayed on, Good luck!

Oh no Gloria. I am so sorry.

I did the same thing Glory a few weeks ago. It had gotten dark and I decided as my last chore, to get a couple of cuttings to plant up for Owen and went over to my DW and reached in and cut off a limb. I took it back to the work table and 2 of my big pods hung from the bottom where I cut it. After kicking myself I put it in water and it is still alive and the pods are still green. I killed Owen though!

Note to self, do not ask kell for cuttings during pod season.....

How's the GH holding up?

Hi Glory! I am in a tizz about it. LOL I am never happy! I want to add heat in case we have a freeze but am afraid to put in a little space heater for it is so very wet in there, drips water from ceiling. But I guess from what people say it is safe. I sure hope so.

I'll tell ya right now Roz is the kindess and funniest lady you will ever meet. Roz and I were born in the same part of Biloxi but never knew each other as kids...she went to public and I to Catholic school....I met Roz on Daves.
