BBBRRRRRRRR!! It's cold down here! 36 already and supposed to dip way below freezing before morn. We had our first real good freeze a couple nights ago, so the garden's toast. We haven't put in any cole crops, lettuce or the like, so there's nothing left out there. :(

Sold the ScatTrak today! Woohoo! Christmas money! It was an old burned up one that Kenny found for $800 ~ the engine had caught on fire, so all the wires and hoses were gone and a couple of hydraulic cylinder seals, seat, etc. We had thought about putting a couple grand into it and making it run again, but decided that if we get another machine remotely like the Bobcat, it needs to be compatible with the Bobcat implements. But we got almost twice what we paid for it, so I'm not complaining! Watch out, Grandbabies ~ Gramma has extra cash this year! LOLOL!

The little heifer bottle calf is doing better and better every day. Today I showed the backhoe tractor to a prospective buyer (yeah, we're getting rid of ALL the excess [deleted] while we're at it. ;) and she walked all the way out there to us! It's a good little ways from the barn out there ~ I was so amazed! :)!! She's nosing the dogs now as if to say, "You're a funny looking cow, but wanna' play anyway?" She's still waking kind of funny. She's figured out in which order her feet are supposed to move, but it's kind of a funny locomotion thing ~ her back stays straight and still, doesn't move up and down or side to side or bend at all, just kind of glides right on by while her legs carry her past! LOLOL! I've been massaging her back, too, just in case it's because it's stiff. But it sure is a funny/weird sight!

Other than thinking it was Wednesday all day today, then getting a big surprise when I found out otherwise (got a Dr. appt. in the morning ~ good thing I figgered that out before bedtime!) not much else surprising happened today. I love these nice and easy days. I hope all of y'alls' was the same. :)
