To those who got the Rosamond X L'Amour seeds that were bad, I picked 4 pods today. I peeled about 10% of the seeds. They were All GOOD so I'm sending replacements. The seeds will not be completely dry, so plant immediately. Hopefully the problem won't happen again.
RosamondX seeds
Bless you Susie. I do not need any more seeds right now.
Give mine to someone who has more room than me.

Hmm I have not checked mine yet. I wasn't going to plant until, next month. I will let you know sometime this week.
Susie, if you run short just forget about mine:) No big deal to me.
Owen
I have enough to send all the ones that ordered. I kept copies of what I sent, the Scifstore ones will be easiest. Owen, you are important too, I will make sure you get good seeds. Doesn't matter if yours were good or not, I'm redoing the whole thing, so anyone that got seeds of this cross will get replacements.
Hibiscus, I didn't forget you.
Susie I am like Owen if you run short, don't worry about me, you have given me so many this year it will be fine, I haven't started mine either. On my list of things to do this weekend. I will just peel these and whatever is good plant. The super size Versi-Orange hardwood cutting you sent (3" diameter) is rooted and putting out leaves, even above the Y, it looks GREAT, I may have a big orange yet!
Susie can wait until next year. Was not going to plant until spring any way. Got the cuttings that Owen and Tig sent to baby sit, so am not lonely. You have been great Thanks a million.
Thanks Susie. Give mine to someone else, also.

Thank you Susie. I truly did want to grow these seeds and after taking them out of the soil today, I only found one that had a little bean inside. I think this is such a special cross and I am so glad about being able to participate in the growing of these seedlings. I did want to let you know that I feel as some of the others do, if you come up short, I can wait because there will be another time.
I sure can't wait to see what those seeds produce for everyone. Here's hoping someone gets a hardier heavier blooming redder Rothkirch that grows fast and is extremely easy to root from this batch. Keeping my fingers crossed for you guys. Cala is just to kind to be giving this special cross out.
When I recieved my seeds I was very excited to get them going so I started to peel them. The first two were hallow, so just planted the rest without peeling and hoped for the best, thinking I still had a chance of sprouting a nice plant given the parentage. When I saw this post and read you were going to send out fresh seeds I just had to put in my two cents worth. Getting seeds with a good chance of turning into some real beauties for a few bucks was great, but sending out replacements is over the top!! Thumbs up!!
Susie, thanks for the email. Will look forward to getting my first ones. Remember, if there is a beauty in the ones I grow, you have to name it. :-)
What a gal...............that's our Cala!!!
"eyes"
thanks
Thank you for the e-mail Cala. As I said before there was no way possible you could have know there was anything wrong with the seeds as the outside looked fine.
I guess next year we will have to check our seeds. I mailed some out to people without knowing they had a problem. Figured out they had a problem when they wouldn't grow for me. Made me feel badly, but there was nothing I could do. I'll sure try harder to check them next year before sending them out. Even then, if the little weevil is in the bean eating, we wouldn't know it until it was too late. Cala is nice to offer new seeds to everyone. I wouldn't have any available to mail out.
My seeds came today, thank you.
