Hope you had a nice vacation.and I hope you can help me help my SIL that lives in MD. She has had her Compaq windows 2000 for 2 years, and never defraged. It's getting slower & freezing up. This is like the blind leading the blind for me to try to help her, but I do know how to delete the temp. internet files & defrag and scandisk, and have sent her step by step how to do this.Also how to go to msconfig & startup and take all the running things off.and the screensaver. After doing the above she ran the defrag 4 hours yesterday. It said 1% done. today she run it 9 hours and still 1%. Help PLEASE
