How do you handle out-of-the-country SASE's? A lady wanted some seeds and nicely sent a mailer with stamps on it. When I asked DH to mail it for me he said you need US stamps. I called the PO and they said I did. I put some stamps on it and sent it. A few cents for stamps is no big deal, but she has some seeds I would like, so how do those of you that do this all the time handle it?
Really dumb question here
Call your P.O. Don't tell them you are sending seeds, just ask how much for a letter to wherever, then add to that, if it is heavy with seeds, or bubblewrap. I NEVER say "seeds".
I find it's easier just to do a trade instead of an sase if the other person has something I want.
Thanks. These are Datura seeds I am talking about and I guess that is the only way it would work. I can't send her money or stamps- she couldn't use either.
She could use them for mailing another envelope back for sase.
