So Sweet Ludger!
Very interesting combination. How did you come up with that idea? I wish my brain would think of something unique every now and then.
Happy advent to you too
Thank you all for wishing back...
painted, I had this thought to make this picture and tried it.
I like you like it, smile.
GL
Ludger, you make wonderful pictures.
That looks very pretty, Ludger. I must admit, that I always forgot to light the candles on each Advent Sunday. This year, I have not even a Advents wreath. The one and only, who always reminded me to light all the four candles at least on Holy Eve, is gone.
Hi Monika,
It always brightens my day when you post. Hope all is well for you, and I do understand what you are saying.
Monika,
I have found a very special word from Schiller in a book, jears ago.
I will look for and send you.
Christmas and Eastern are very special days when you are missing an important and nice person...
GL
Maybe after this year Monika, you will light them in memory of your dear Mom and it will bring you some peace.
Ludger - I haven't lit Advent candles in many years. This year I'll light them for you and Monika. I'm very grateful that we have met you both.
Thank you Ludger. That was very thoughtful of you to think of all of us here at Daves.
Thank you so much.! Tonight, I am going to the Christmas festimony of the country womens club. It has always been very nice, sitting together, chatting and singing the old christmas carols. At the moment, I regretted it already, because I think, it still too early to go, but my friends kept begging me to come.
Monika, I hope you have a wonderful time at the get together. It will be good for you to enjoy the company of others and I'm sure your mom would have wanted you to go also. Hope you are having some good weather this winter. We are having flurries this morning. No real snow yet. I'm sure it will come soon enough.
I will go and try, Shirley.
We expect the first snow tonight. There is a continental high (weather front) coming in from Russia. I like to have it during summer, because its strong and promises warm and sunny weather for a long period of time. But in winter, it could bring either heavy snow with severe frost or only bare frosts (said in german for strong freeze without protecting snow) for a long time, which can be deadly for many plants (especially the Farmer winter crop).

I'm sure glad you have everything inside and protected. Today will be fairly warm for us, so I think I'm going to do some more Christmas shopping this afternoon.
Buy me a great present Brugie!! LOL
I'll buy the gift Kell and you'll pay the shipping, right? I'm thinking cement something..........LOL
She needs a c-ment chicken!

GL
Right CC, I'd forgotten about that crazy chicken. Ludger don't laugh too hard. You never know what might show up in your mail, postage due. Just kidding. By the way, send me your snail mail addy, will you??
Shirley,
you could post to me all what you would like. Even "chicken in cement without ketchup"......I would honour it like silver, gold and diamonds.........chaaaaaaaaaarming Ludger
I will mail my snail addy
GL
Thanks!!
WOW Ludger, you are quite the charmer!!!
LOL, I would love a brother to CC's C-ment chicken!!! LOL........ and you would no doubt send it to me same day mail, Brugie.......... can you imagine the postage on that?? LOL would serve me right I guess!
Told Jim about the cement Chicken, and he volunteered one from his mom's yard. He said it was so heavy he could barely carry it to the basement each fall. I know it will be a disappointment, but I thought I better leave the chicken for his mom. I can surely find something heavier anyway. :-)
LOL Brugie, let me know when to expect my present!!!
Hey how about a full grown, 8 foot L'amour tree???
We have a beautiful concrete, pedestal planter, still has geraniums(red)growing in it. It is HEAVY, DH only moves it couple feet to put it in the coldframe for the winter. Watch for the mailman!
Geez, I'd love to supply everyone with L'Amour, but she is so small yet. Only about two ft. tall. Can't cut her until she is big enough and has some hard wood on her. Sorry Kell.
