Last year on December 1, I posted a list of flowers still blooming away in my gardens. This year, we have had more than a foot of snow since 5 this morning and it is still at it. The Lake Erie lake effect machine is in full throttle. Church has been cancelled and there is almost zero traffic, including snow plows. the milk truck has been and gone, so we are set until tomorrow.
I spent yesterday in the emergency room getting a very large shot of pain meds. My disintegrating discs decided to have a slip and slide earlier in the week and while it had been getting better, Friday night it all went horribly wrong. I spent the rest of the day on the couch with an ice pack and am on Vicodin for the duration. Oh, this is all so much fun!
