Ash-Pickled Tofu

Shangshui, Henan, China(Zone 7b)

TOFU 1chunk
ASH 1box
PAPER-NAPKIN some pieces

Cut tofu into cubes
Wrap well with napkins
Place in ash 1 week
Take out and wash clear
Cut into slices
And make into Salad

*Here the ash should be chosen from
the burnt crop foliage
*The tofu is limited to make
between 5-15 degrees Celsius
*The tofu tastes like somewhat meat
