Oh my goodness Eyes.........so you hybridize these? I would love to grow them but I do not have a greenhouse. I had a glorious one but left it too long outside. I have 1 I bought for $10 at the end of the season that has been givng me lots of flowers. I have it in my kitchen winddow. I got up in the night and another one had opened. I was thinking of fertilizing it with osmocote to get blooms all winter. Does that sound right to you?

Wow, you guys are good....they are beautiful!

Hibiscus has blooms on hers during the winter and she lives where it is cold. Bet you will have bloom too Kell. Sure is a pretty red. Mine look a little sick right now. Most are without leaves. I'm letting them go kinda dormant right now. Not totally dry, but it is dry enough and cool enough in the basement that they are naked!!

Inside they will bloom off and on until March. Nothing excessive, just 1 to 3 blooms. Water sparingly, until you see new growth. Hope this helps.
