Good morning! Woke up to dh pounding his boots at the backdoor and looked out to ground covered with snow. News has been saying how icy the streets were in Lincoln so called Julia and she answered the phone "yes Mom". Yes I am turning into my mother.
Did a little Christmas shopping yesterday. It was nippier out than I thought and forgot to wear something to cover my ears so they hurt last night. Julia was hinting for a vest from Old Navy. They are in one of those trendy centers where everything is out in the open. Also picked up a double click mouse. I need to order a book that she wants and then I should be done with the exception of a few gift certif.
Our chickens are starting to lay again - will be nice to have fresh eggs for Christmas baking. These chickens were a new hatch from earlier this year and they were the only ones that seem to have survived the fox who lives under our hay stack. DH has a friend who is a trapper and he's had a trap set up for several weeks and still hasn't caught her.
Worked at the Event Center on Saturday. Lots of activities - craft show, gymnastics and dog agility trials. I loved to watch the dogs - amazing what they could do.
