so if you all have request they have to be done tonight
for cutting tomorrow
Larry
my out side trees will probably freeze back Wed. am
I don't think I can handle too many more Brugs right now, but I sure would like to see a list of what you have going to the chop yard. Are these seedlings of yours or hybrids you have been working with...pollen donors?
Oh my! How can anyone resist that offer? You have so many wonderful ones.
So good to see you back.
Larry, Which ones are you cutting down?
Larry has some dandies for sure, but I just can't imagine that he is letting out too many of his beauties. I sure wish I had more land right now, but as it is I'm a bit more constrained than I like to admit at the moment.
Cut away Larry! I'll bet one of us will want something--if given more time to think about it. I'll write out my christmas list....
Here we sit on the edge of our seat in suspense. LOL

If all 300 are in the ground...do you think you can get by with a light covering or are they spaced too far apart? I hate seeing seedlings so close to blooming fail to do so. Perhaps you could cut the tips off of a few and place in buckets of water to get them to bloom though you might lose a few blooms. Perhaps pulling off the a few leaves though and watering heavily before cutting and placing cut ends immediately in water though...perhaps it might be enough to coax your flowers into bloom and then one can select out from those the ones you desire to keep? I don't honestly know what will work here, just trying to help you brain storm if need be. I'm thinking you might even be able to get some pollen for later use this way as well....
Larry your killin us! What a selection. I don't have a single one you've listed. Everyone been very generous here at DG--now I feel deprived. I'm trying to find that native morning glory for you for you here. Did you have any luck with that nursery?
For you that have never received cuttings from Larry he tells the truth....he sends out only hard wood and semi hard wood cuttings. He is a very giving person.
Just like you glory....Grin and Hug
Blush, Blush.
Larry, if you have enough i would like to trade for vulcanicola and the wild versicolor, i'll email you my list tomorow, have to update it. i've read you grow really tall plants, just got a cutting of james, dee, hope i can get it to grow as tall as you do.
He's another one of your brug treasures.
I would LOVE Creamsicle, and one of my sisters is named Brenda, but I just started with brugs and I don't have any wonderful ones big enough to trade yet. Last fall I had two plants and a bunch of cuttings, this year I have eight plants and an even bigger bunch of cuttings. Are you interested in any other plants?
glory
i had a blush but then you came out with yours before me lol
mine was a play on ornage crush (the drink) for those old enough to know it lol
so I changed mine to orange blush
after all Ladies first right lol :-)
and i just love the blooms off the cutting you sent me of her
arlene
"james" is a very heavy pod maked esp. sence about 1/2 the blooms seem sterile
I have found that his perfume acts like a pheromone to many men :-) he can grow to 20 ft. easy

u're very welcome Ms. Kell :)!
Larry - I sent you mail.
MaVieRose
the first link is wrong
James starts out a very light lemmon yellow and ends up a very dark ornage (temp. makes all kinds of shades in him)
Larry
Awesome list! Maybe next year I will have some to offer in trade this year I will just have to dream.......
Donna,
I already sent Barb some Twisted Sister. :0)
Larry,
I wasn't me that did Blush it was Jackie.
Wow, are you looking for any plants other than brugs? I have lots of plants, just not many brugs and I would love to trade with you.
Thanks,
Gerri
Sorry Jackie
but the way things have been this summer I am down to one brain cell lol
I will try to send out cuttings on Fri.
I will fill all request I can as they have come in
and Mama Trees go to stumps
Larry
Larry,
i am not familiar with the brug 'James'. the reason why i attached the thread it came from for both brugs. i have no way of knowing how James' bloom would be like.
Sure wish I had something to trade now, but my bushes have been mush for six weeks. One of the perks of living in Iowa----NOT.
Larry, is this from me? >Roasa (white) from bruno
There must have been a mistake somewhere! Insignis 'Rosea' has very warm pink flowers!
Bruno
Larry, I'd love a surprise package put together by you. Email me and I'll send you my SASE and Addy. I don't think I have anything you'd want except of you do cannas, too.
"eyes"
Larry a newbe here just starting up. Dont even have my first bloom but have 12 cuttings already leafed out and in pots. Would love to have more. Mybe you could also make up a collection for sase. Give me something to start trading next year.I got my first one from eyes and its two foot tall and under lights. She got me hooked.
