Peach colored Christmas Cactus

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Blooming before Thanksgiving, think it doesn't know what day it is, just like me!

Have been told my rose colored one is the Christmas cactus, this one is the Thanksgiving one....whatever...

When I grow up I want to have plants just like Hibiscus does. :-) Great looking cactus Gloria. The color is wonderful.

Thank you S. This was put in basement, in September, only one small window. DH came up today, and asked if I knew it was blooming...

Pebble: Sent your' seeds to you today, finally!

Check out this one... Now I'm getting 2 different colors on the same plant. This isn't normal is it? My guess is they got a little mixed up while propagating and had stem cuttings from two different cultivars in the same pot.

Curiosity got the best of me and I wondered if these would produce seeds. I got out my little pollen brush and crossed some of the different colors. I wonder if they're sterile... or maybe I'll get lucky. I'd think they'd have to produce some sort of seeds to get new colors.

Have never tried to get seeds, didn't even pay attention to whether they had any or not. I have a beautiful rose colored one. Like it best, but it didn't produce many blooms. This peach one is loaded front and back.
