Hello farmers and farm wives,

I have looked in here often these days and see that most of you are still busy with your cattle and all other farm chores. Things here for me have gotten very slow on the farm. We dug our dahlia patch and divided the tubers, that was a several day chore. My hubby is still trying with his cousins to get his cane chopping machine to run more efficiently. What a long process they have endured. Doing something new and different is exhausting for him. I have started working away from home 5 to 10 hours a week at a pie baking kitchen. This has been interesting and enjoyable. We are running Christmas tree sales for our daughter's school. Hope to hear from others.
