So tell me quick.............. is it OK to cut the anthers off and put them in a little sandwich baggie, leave open for 2 days then close and mail to you?? If I missed your bloom, maybe you can freeze this for next time?
And will this be enough? I will have another 20 open in the next few days and tons after that...............
CC, you have pollen!!
Kell I luv yah--but that is sooooo cruel to show me that picture. I can't even get the seed started.
Kell,I love you!!!
Your blooms are gorgeous!
Don't dry them out,at least I never do.
just ziploc them and they should be fine,
Mine haven't opened yet and I do have some other pollen to use,so don't worry about the time....
Very pretty Kell. The one you sent me is still going. It has a new shute up about 1" or so. I was so excited.
I LOVE that picture - can I use it as my wallpaper?
that is a great pic.
Kell, you can use q-tips and get as much pollen on them as you can, then throw them in a ziploc too.....
I have to ask this question after seeing this pretty picture. Do sang blooms wilt quickly, like the regular kinds of brug blooms?
gee, I am thrilled you all like my picture! I wish I had taken more care now!
Miss Lizzy, the Queen of Sangs, I am honored........... I ran over and took more trying to get a better one to go with the pic of me on your porch that you have as wallpaper.......... LOL
If you like one of these better I will email to you so you do not have copyright....... too late to change your mind......LOL
or this........LOL but I need lessons from Barb!!
WOW kell.......
Im speachless...
wow
Send them all!! I love them
Kell, your pictures are STUNNING!!! AWESOME!!!!
The blooms themselves are beautiful, your arrangement
delightful.
Absolutely beautiful Kell. I got some seeds again and I am going to attempt to grow one inside since I found out they don't like the heat. I was wondering why all the seedling I had died LOL.
Well, the flowers are now all torn up.....sad but true!! but I have a bag full of pollen and it seems fluffy and hopefully CC will be able to use it.
I found the closed ones had no pollen yet so I saved one in water and it is doing great to answer Brugie's question. not floppy and wilted at all like the rest of the brug blooms do. So I will be using them in arrangements in the future. they are stunnnning picked!
