Hey that's neat Poppysue! I have a very small start of the gold and had one bloom.. Just enough to tease me. Now I have to wait and entire year to get another one.
I gave my cactus away. It was getting too big and I had no place to keep it in the house. Sure was pretty though. A nice red one. I love the gold color. That shot is great.
You're making me want one (big sigh). I saw it at one of my favorite nurseries in a bigger pot and about $2.00 cheaper than Logee's. I was already thinking about getting an australian cherry, they just put out some small ones for $9.00. I've been looking for one for a while, without any luck. Ok, you talked me into it, I'll get both of them on Saturday when we take my little niece to see the reindeer! This nursery puts up an enclosure and brings in reindeer for a few weeks every year.
