but he question is, what do you write on them with?? Brugie sent me tons of great tags but i used permanent marker and I can't read them at all a few months later. i do not think pencil works on these.

I use the Staedtler Lumocolor AV Transparency Markers.
They keep their printing well, even in the elements.
I buy them individually here in Canada at Grande and Toy but I found an online site for them in the US. [scroll to the second set of markers to see the AV protected ones]

i use DecoColor Opaque paint marker to write with. available @ Michael's Craft store. it never fade or wash off for me.

Kell, one side works better than the other. It is a little rougher. I use a pencil and it stays on very well, even in the heat.

Those are called 'tree tags' duh and are available from Mellingers,in two lenghts,at about 19.00 per M.Any good local nursery supply will have them at about the same price but you could save shipping by buying locally.
