I just got a wonderful fabulous early Christmas present today. I was so surprised, didn't know what could be in that package from Switzerland. Dear Gwist sent me a copy of Monika's book!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly fell over.

Gwist, dear friend, it is beautiful and I just can't thank you enough. Monika, even when I can't read a word, it's the best book I've ever had. thank you for all the hard work it took putting it together.

You lucky lady! Hope to get one, but sure would like to have it in English. If that doesn't happen soon, I'm going to get one in German and then one in English later. I can just say I needed one for each end of the coffee table. :-)

Tig, it is a great book. Get your German translator out and get busy. Don't you just drool over some of those plants? They have been growing them a little longer than we have. Where were we while they were breeding these beautiful plants? Brugs never were mentioned or even came up in discussion until about 8 years ago when I saw my first brugs in New Orleans.

I was so excited I thought for a minute some of the words made sense!! but a lot comes from the info monika has shared here, so that helped!
