Hello from Ohio

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

It seems that everytime I did a search for a plant, Dave's Garden would come up on my screen, so I decided to join, Hope to trade seeds and garden stories as well learn a lot of new things from experienced gardeners here.

Hi, Angel, and welcome to DG! This is the best place on the web, both for gardening and for finding information of all kinds shared by loving people. Glad you joined.

Thank you for the welcome, I am still getting lost on this site and making mistakes on my home page!

I joined this year and a big welcome to you. Everyone here will be helping you and in no time you will be a pro at getting around the site.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I do have a question, for seed trading, if you answer a post, do you have to email also? I read the trade page tips, and still do not understand.
Thanks,
Chris

Hey, Angel - welcome from a central Ohioan and her hubby! :) About posting vs. e-mailing...Posts should be fine, though some might not check the threads as often as they do their e-mail. It doesn't hurt to do both if you're concerned your post might be missed.

Camilla, GA(Zone 8a)

Welcome,
As for the e-mail, I say yes, a thank you is never out of fashion..LOL, and some posts do get missed at times...I'm sure you will love it here.

columbus, OH(Zone 5b)

Hi, I am also a new member, just signed up today. It's great to see all the Ohio gardeners here, some not very far away!
I notice a lot of gardeners use their given names, I signed up with a kind of alias, like I have done on other sites. I also see Eyesoftexas at JG as well. It's like I'm already home,

Hi Lilytoad...I looked at the name and thought...Why is Toddlilly saying she is new?? then I notice your's is backwards from her's...anyhow...welcome to the best site on the web from a "maure" lady in AZ. Jo

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Hey, Lilytoad - greetings from another central Ohioan in the frozen tundra! :)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

hi lilytoad and angel, welcome to you both (I'm always late:) I have a son that lives in OH (don't ask what town, I can never remember) I hope to get up that way this spring. Hope you both are enjoying DG!!

Paxton, FL(Zone 8a)

Welcome to both of you. It's a little slow around here right now, but we diehard gardeners will keep you busy, then come spring..look out! It can get rowdy (fun) around here with seed trading, plant trading, information trading, co-ops. A very helpful place to be.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh, tiG, if you come up here, please stop by! :D We'd love to see you again!

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

Ditto on Kim's comment, tiG ~ it would give me a great reason to drive over to Columbus & meet you both & Howie, too :)

Welcome angel45239 & lilytoad! We're really getting a good group of Ohio members here! I'm from the Dayton area. Lots of wonderful people here & great information & ideas. This is what the "real" world should be like so I find myself spending more time here sometimes :)
