Almost Forgot

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I got so excited teaching my class(don't say nothing about an old School Marm, thank you very much) I almost forgot to show of my new babies. This one was white when it bloomed the first time. I almost sold it to a customer, sure glad she didn't take it. I tried to capture the hint of peach in the corolla, but the sun was very bright. Dr. Seuss is the momma. The bloom is small.

Beauty. That is the shade of yeller I have been looking for. "hint"

Owen

What about the fragrance? Is it really a more intense yellow than Whiskers? How does it compare with James and Jessie Noel colorwise?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty. I like soft yellow.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Owen, it's a very soft yellow. I'm thinking Whiskers might be the daddy(he does get around ya know). It's not as intense as Jessie Noel or Becca Lynn. I don't have James, so can't compare to that one. It was middle of the day and after the caterpillar poo, I didn't smell it. Yes, Owen, I took the hint.

Looks like it may turn peachier.

*lol* Cala, I just saw you as a teacher with your hair tied in a tight knot, horn glasses from the 60`s, in a flowery dress and with blue socks and brown health sandals. *lol* :)

As to the flower I am absolutely clueless. :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh Tonny, I am laughing so hard, I fell off the chair!! I don't have enough hair to tie in a knot, and I would look so funny in a big floweredy dress, lol. I'm still laughing just picturing me like that!!!

Dripping Springs, TX

Thank you Ms Calalily I'll bring you an apple for the next class. Cala are your brug in a greenhouse or outside? And what time of the day do they usually bloom?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Very pretty Cala.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

They are in the Jungle House, lol. It's a greenhouse. They bloom all day and night. They smell best in the evenings and early morning. It's so amazing to go in and slowly in the evenings the fragrance starts to float in the air. It's really nice.

Dripping Springs, TX

Is that Like Elvis' Jungle Room? Been there--you and I need to talk on that decorating forum..grin. What are the Temps in there? Day and night?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

looks like a very sweet innocent bloom!!! simple and uncomplicated.........just what we need about now.......LOL

Very pretty Cala. Glad you posted it. Been sitting here watching the big snowflakes falling. Calling for 2-4" by morning.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, glad you are here. I thought maybe you got lost in your brug garden waiting for me to come by and snap.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

UH oh, while we are all here partying, someone will be stealing Kell's brugs.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Is someone at Kell's brugs again?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I think I heard "snap, snap" from somewhere off in the darkness. It's either Tonny or Brugie, though I doubt Brugie is able to walk after those two mudslides.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

gee guys, I am on my way to Jeannes for the seafood fest. I thought I could beat you all to the food while you are all drinking at Calas!

tell Brugie to snap enough for everyone and to please feed the poor featherless birdie!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, you better take that birdie with you. Not safe to leave it home with your hubby!!

Hey, Desert Rose, whatever they are doing in the North, we may think about doing it year round.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Beautiful, Kell smoking again? With all the drinking that went on here last night hope you all are able to go to work today.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tracey, I don't think some have been to bed yet!!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Very Pretty!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Is there a brug with a bloom color more yellow than Dr. Suess? Not one that turns gold or orange.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Jessie Noel? Becca Lynn? I have Daybreak, not released yet, that is clear lemon yellow.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

How about Whiskers, she stays light yellow. And I have one that I got from Gloria called James Yellow Seedling, it is a pretty flower not over big and stays a light yellow, and what about Sunray too!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Nice colors on all of these,I just had a seedling bloom, gotta dig to the botton of the barrel to read what it is,looks like a CG X.First bloom looks shredded,I think it was damaged from moving around, the other one looks normal.Long tendrils but all curley q .Yellow orange.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Owen is looking for something more intense yellow than Jessie Noel. Is there one? I'll have Becca Lynn this next year. Can't wait to see her bloom. Thanks Susie.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

WOW Cala.......love that yellow bloom.....looks big!!
