I knew it'd happen sooner or later. One of the dogs gave Emma's ear a good chomp while we were outside just now, and the cut bled like a son of a gun! I'm glad she's a submissive mamma's girl, for she let me put pressure on the wound to quell the bleeding, then I put some antibiotic cream on it. It seems to be staying closed on its own - so no stitches should be needed. Whew!

I sprayed some bitter apple on my hand and wiped it around her ear and face so the dogs won't lick it and start it bleeding again. I've got them all in the crate so they'll just be settled down and quiet (and so I can vacuum without someone getting scared and peeing - they don't like the vacuum!).

Why do these things always happen when you're pressed for time? We fly out of here tomorrow and I'm scrambling to get everything ready for our departure, LOL!
