What medicines do you have on hand for your animals and how do you use them? Also, equipment that's needed for something or other ~ anything you'd need when an animal emergency or just small injury comes along.
While talking about dairy cows on that other thread, Baa thought this would make a good topic for a thread ~ I agree completely! I know I'll learn a lot and maybe will take some of the pressure off my vet (I'll bet he thinks I'm such a pest by now. ;).
Kenny and I are fixing up the stall the bottle calf's in, turning it into my milking parlor complete with cabinets and refrigerator. I'd love to stock it with everything I need for all the animals since that room will be the cleanest and most secure room in the barn. It's right across the hall from another room that we'll turn into a "hospital" stall, so the meds and stuff will be handy. I can't wait 'til it's done! :)
