I am thinking of putting my Lycoris into my raised beds. before I do this I need to know how tall are their leaves and how wide they are. I dont want to add plants to my new beds that will look untidy.
Lycoris leaves
Just send them to me Mark ;-) They'll fit in whatever.

probably the wrong sp.
the little red ones called Spider Lilly sometimes, only get about 6 inches tall. I don't know about the tall pink ones called "Naked Ladies" or "Surprise Lillies"...
thanks for the link but it doesnt tell me what they look like when the are fully developed
No, agreed, it was all i could find with leaves at all :(
Which sp have you got?
When the flower blooms it can be as tall as 18". The foliage, which comes up later, may get as tall as 8".
Perhaps those leaves (in the link above) are fully developed then?

Some of the leaves can get up to 8" tall...I just went out to measure mine. I wouldn't call them untidy because where you have the bulbs you have the stalks (leaves) coming up. So if you plant the bulbs in a triangle, you'll have shoots coming up in that triangle. They do get raggity and yellowish in the spring, but you don't want to cut them down because those shoots are sending nutrients back to the bulb. So I guess the bottom line is in winter they will look ok, but in spring they will not be attractive. It's your decision as to sometime yucky vs pretty display in the fall.
