San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL CC................... you do resemble that remark!!
What an artistic picture. too beautiful.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

I was kidding
CC = crazy crossing, because Culebra x Rosalie would be a funcrossing. Noone knows what will happen.
I think I won´t do it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Ludger, i think you should try it! it is going to freeze here, no greenhouse, i am sure culebra pods won't set here this time of year, although i might try. and rosa trauma!!!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Ok Arlene,
I will pollinate Culebra. If I will get a ripe pod you must sow them, I don´t have time.....lol
GL

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Ludger,we will ALL volunteer to sow your seeds!!!!

Arlene, can't you make little brug tents to save them from the frost!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

really cc, we'd all be jumping through hoops to get a couple of those!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Ludger, you are on, and if all 11 creamsickle pods take, you will have to help with those!!
and you too CC. I can cover stuff up, plan to, just can't do it all 40 plus in the ground, 40 plus i have no idea how many in pots. it rained all day, hopefully will get some pollen on culebra tomorrow, just to know i tried.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Arlene wish you much succses ( shoot, how to write sucses..sorry)
Try to save cuttings for you in house.

Chicken, lol, you can help, just give a legal way to post to you, smile smile. Don´t like to become unlegal lol.

Sorry to all readers!!!!!
I have used a bad word. I just have read my threads from today.
Next time I will use my wordbook at once.
I was going to say:Wish a good success to Arlene.
I translated the german word " Scheiße" in a very bad way.
Dave hope you will forgive me.
Never I will do it again in future.Promised
Greetings Ludger

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Ludger, you have great english, i can't believe how good. also, you can edit your posts if you need to. i don't understand what was bad, bet no one else does either.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I didn't see anything.....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I saw it, but I don't know how he edited it without it showing that he did the edit.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Sorry,
for this confusion. I used a wrong word but Dave or an other here helped to catch this word and do it away.
( put it away).

Very Very much thank you.
Please!!!! lets go back to Brugs, smile. No word more

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Back to Culebra, I hope you have good luck pollinating it. I had six blooms on mine this summer and pollinated all of them with Butterfly. None of them set a pod. I was disappointed, but not surprised.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Brugie,
I don´t know if Culebra will set pods.
Thank you for this thought. I will pollinate Culebra.
Hope my GH will give time to the brugs.
Still it is very mild here.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Ludger, i am sure you can do it!!!!!!! wishing you success too!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Arlene, very much thanks for this mail.
Hope I will not disapoint you.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

According to Lockwood, culebra pollen is distorted and about 85% of it is unusable. Some will take..but would take many tries to get viable seeds.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

eclipse, does that include setting seed pods on culebra also???

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Ok you got me. Sunday I will work.
Monday I will pollinate culebrapolllen all over.
Have some flowers in GH.
Have some culebraflowers later......
smile Ludger

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

A challenge Ludger...........and I am sure you are up to it!!

Gee Arlene.......11 creamsickle pods............. what are the crosses??? Be still my heart! great job! I can tell I will be envious of you next summer!

Arlene, why don't you build a hoop house??? ...............very cheap and easy!! and you have the land!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

ms kell, they are every one illegitimate. i had given up trying to pollinate, and after blooming all summer the moths decided to do it! lower 30s here tonight! fingers crossed. i think i'll have to wait til next year for a greenhouse, will see. if we can skate through the next two nights will have a month or so more to figure something out.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am hoping for you!!!! I am telling you a hoop house is cheap and easy!!!
