Wow CC - you're all set now! I bet we'll be drooling over your brugs this winter! You'll have to let us know how it works out for you.

Weatherford, TX(Zone 7b)

I want one! could it run heat for a small barn and GH? Does it run on propane, gas, electric or is all poss? Would like to keep Gh at 65 if poss. Do have back up heat if ness. Thanks!!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

cc, I have a thermostat on mine. When the temp hits 45 the furnace goes on automatically. When spring comes and I want to put my seedlings out there and get the plants out of dormancy I'll put it on 65 or 70.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Snow, I have a thermostat on mine too. I too bump the temps up in the spring.
CC, you can always turn it up a bit when it's snowing, just to melt the snow.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Right now the thermostat is in the GH,I just got home from work, and of course had to run in there. Its 36 outside right now ,when I walked into the GH I looked at the thermometer at the far side and it says 61....

Its like summer in there.
Weedlady ,it runs on propane.

When we make the garage the livingroom I will probably just keep the sliding glass door open so the GH would be like an extention.

One thing I did notice, the condensation is gone

Is that a good thing?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes, no more dripping on your head!! We bought a different brand of plastic covering this year(it was half price and now I know why). We had always bought the "no-drip" kind in the past, DH didn't think to ask this time. It's a mess, makes the botrytis worse.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Congrats CC, I think you're gonna find yourself sitting in the ghouse in a nice rocker chair and reading books from time to time. What a great place to hang out, eh?
I keep my thermostat set at 50, but the temps range from 45 to 50 in different areas, which is great cuz I like some things kept cooler.
As for the dripping, I used to get condensation mainly from the metal hoops here and there, but keeping a fan blowing in there really helped put a stop to it.
Now, as for botrytis, I get that too Cala...usually in my upper arm near my shoulders, especially during periods of dampness.
(Er, wait, maybe that is Bursitis)? ;>)
