I would like to say Thank you to all of you, who helped me to obtain the pictures for my Photo cataloge.

I do this at daves, my AOL program crashed down this morning and I lost all my E-Mail files during deinstalling. And right now, my PC hangs himself up every other minute.

I will respect everybodys copyright and place it on pictures, which dont have any. Thanks again, you are all a very great 'gang ' LOL

Monika, Did my pictures ever make it to you. I was having trouble with my e-mail program and resent them.

Monika......I just remembered that I have those pictures of that huge double white tree that a distant neighbor has. I have quite a few of them.......... I know it was not on your list but it is so big.........if you want to look at them for your project..... I will email you them.

Snow your pictures are safe. I had already loaded them down in the night into my own files.

kell I would love to get this picture, even though, Brugmansias will never grow to such a huge size and heavy flowering because of our climate.

Great Monika. Glad the e-mail reached you.

Monika, GREAT!! I will send you the ones I have tonight after work when I have time. You can pick what one you like. This may be the best one. I can't remember what I have, I took them in the summer.

Can you imagine your alley if you lived here? It would be even more spectacular than it is now. You do so much even though you have to fight nature but if it was helping you I can't even imagine what you could do.

Kell, that tree is amazing. Is this the same one that you are growing?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

When I was taking the pics the owner came out and said his tree is only 3 years old!!! His neighbor gave him a cutting before she moved. He said it was a cutting from Hawaii. It has half died back every winter from frost. He NEVER fertilizes or waters it!!!! I could not believe it. Well I could after I looked at the rest of his yard.......LOL........... he is not a gardener, lets leave it at that!

My double whites here come from a nursery about an hour from here so I would think they are different. Mine has all different kinds of blooms on 1 tree. These were all the same size and type of bloom. The man was so nice, he told me to go over and take what I wanted from it. I took a big branch and have 2 pieces growing but I have no room for it here. It would take up my whole little yard!!! DO you want one of the pieces Brugie??

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Kell I guess he never cuts it back either ??

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Kell. It looks like the Candida Double that I had. I didn't like it very much because the skirts wouldn't drop and the blooms browned so quickly. I appreciate the offer though. I think maybe it was too hot where I had it. I have access to it if Tom and Mona keep it alive over the winter, but doubt I'll get a cutting back. I have Species now and I like it a lot more because of the way the skirts drop.

I can only dream of how my alley would lokk like, if I lived in CA. I think, I wouldnt recoignize my own tress anymore.

Next year, all my the second motherstock plants of Fandango, Bolero, Anouschka, Natascha, Fantasia, Florabelle and of course, Rubirosa, will be standing at my sisters place. The climate is much better, where she lives.

My hybrids got used to tough conditions, but I have to give up at least one flush of flowers.
