who wants seeds and are these seeds worth wanting????

SURPRISE!! I was out watering tonight and I suddenly realized these things were big seed pods on my CG!!! I have 1o all together. Could they really have gotten this big in about a month or less?? ON Oct. 4 my kid was going to Yosemite and stopped by here. Because he had his GF with him, I ran out before they came and picked off all the old blooms for my CG had just had a huge flush!! The only things left on that tree were little tiny new buds.

Tonight I found 10 big pods. LOL LOL LOL
They have been covered with the calyx which is why I may not have noticed them before.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........ please tell me what I can expect from the match!! CG is the mother and the father must be a double white!!

both parent of those seed pod are perfect candidate for a nice brug. am getting excited like u are. could hardly wait to grow one and see how the flowers will turn out. ok, am off to the pet forum...

I'd love a couple of seeds Kell. It still might be awhile before they're ready for picking. It seems like I been waiting months for my pods to ripen.

Maybe you will have the next great yellowish double! That would be great! Hoping for you.

Kell, I think most seeds are worth trying. We never know what will happen. I believe that Monika once said that the best chance of getting doubles is if the mother plant is the double. Again, we don't know what will happen. Maybe someone will get lucky and draw a double from their seeds. Sure glad you got pods..............does this mean that the critters are happy and well fed? :-)

I have 3 double whites plants that have pods on them. I pollinated those with Broadway Pink. I will send some of each.

I will keep this thread for when the seeds are ready to send. What fun!!!

Sure Owen, I will plop another on the barbie for you!! It roots easily.
