Oh too bad I'm not living in FL these days. My parents have a tree, Erin and I usually get a few fruits from them each year. They layered one brach for us, I'm planning to bring it up to VA next year.
I did go back to the store tonight and asked -- was VERY disappointed when I found out they wouldn't be getting more in!! I only bought one as I'd never had one before.....really regret it now! If I ever see them again, I will buy several!!

They should be -- unless they've been treated somehow. Unless it's a particular hybrid, they should be fine.

I think they were only 79 cents each. I can handle the cost--it's the eating a dozen or so might be a problem.

Gosh I ought to have you send me some too Desert Rose for that price!!! Ours here were twice that price!! Granted, they were large, but with very thick rinds as well.
I bought 5 Pommoles today. I guess I'm officaly on the "grapefruit" diet. I don't know how many seeds I have yet. I should know in a few days.
