Bet it will be really pretty when it is totally open. Hope you will take a picture and post it. Okay, I'm having a brain freeze. What is EDW. I've got the double white part, but what is the E? Eric's?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

kell, those could be leaves from last year. i will try to take a better pic tonight, maybe it will open. it is very small. i think to get a colored double you need to put aurea pollen on it. i guess i could use some butterly. if the weather holds off i'll put whiskers on another EDW bloom. EDW is in a pot and not really tall, she'll be easy to cover.

ms brugie, enchanted double white, i bought it from earl last year and it didn't bloom. this looks like a good one to work with for colors, i wonder who has set seeds on it. cala, what pollen did you use on EDW? and ms brugie i will try to get a pic just before dark. it has good color, is white inside.

Thanks Arlene. I just can't trust my brain anymore. By the time I send this post, I'll probably have forgotten what EDW is again. :-)

Glad you asked Shirley, I had no idea what is was either. Is Earl's place still around? Very pretty Arlene.

Deb, the site still comes up, but I don't see any changes from last winter.

my advice is don't order from him. too too many people are not getting any response to emails and no plants. He used to be very reliable at least for shipping something, but now I wouldn't go there.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Has anybody found out what has happened to Earl?
Arlene, EDW dropped it's pods the first few times I pollinated it. I've got some small pods from several different pink pollens but they aren't past the critical stage.
