Ludger . . what pretty dogs you have. I don't think I would bother any of your brugs with those two watching!! What are their names?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Barny is the St.Bernhard and Duke is the Irish Setter.

The real Brugwatcher is the little Lady in picture, have a look at Barny....she is telling the both to boom.

Ludger, what lovely company! :) I couldn`t wish for better friend myself, than my dog friends. :) I look forward t meet them in persons hopefully next spring. :) Duke reminds me of my late American Cocker Spaniel "Cocker" and the six years we had together. :)

You know, we had a sign on our fence door to the yard with a picture of s Schaefer with the words "I am watching here". We ordered a new refrigorator and when the delivery men arrived, they were dead scared of Terry. *lol* At a superficial glance he looks like a Schaefer, but he is a Laika and much smaller and real friendly. *lol* Well, Lene and I got the men calmed down, so they dared to carry the refrigorator in and install it. :)

Have you got soe o your Brugs stolen previously? In Sorø Høst Duedahl-Andersen, an soon 90`years old owner of Sorø Botanical Garden Center placed two Brugs outside the local drugstore. These was stolen by local drug addicts. Since that time he stopped selling Brugs. Unfortunately, because he had an aurea hybrid called "Golden Queen", that would be a delight for you to look at and smell. The smell could fill the entire garden. Well, the first Datura Collection garden was just on 30-40 square meters, but the smell was real strong.

I never got anything stolen here in out firt year, but in Sorø some drug addicts living a few houses away broke into the garden and removed several Datura branches, fruits and leaves. Sometimes, when it happens, thatI get mail from a person, that want to eat these plants to experience the spirith worlds I refuse to discuss the subject, but insted propose to learn the person to train himself interlectually to have the same spiritual experiences.

I gave the whte hybrid to the kid, who parents own te local garden center. I had a conversation with him in September. He liked Brugs and used to grow them for the season and then throw them out, when the frost came. I wanted to teac him to appreciate to grow them all year to large trees, so I gave him my tree with lots of fruits on. It worked. The Brug is sill living and inside the large GH and last time Lene was over, he asked her, how to see, when the fruits are ripe. :) That is a good sign. Next step is, that he learns to grow from seeds. :)

Beautiful dogs - obviously they love the warmth of the
fireplace. BIG dogs. You must have a large area for them to roam around.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

LOL. Very smart dogs to stay warm next to the fire They are both beautiful dogs Ludger.

Ludger,
Your dogs are so pretty!!!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Ludger Duke is awsome. His coat is outstanding. You keep him well grommed.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Nice looking dogs, wish mine would learn to protect instead of trample. I am still trying to teach our last dog to go around the flowers instead of through. Heaven forbid they see a rabbit in them. Cala's Wally dig's for mice, I think I would use him to dig my holes for plants, all you have to do is point to the ground and say get that mouse. Wouldn't he be handy, he can dig down 6 inches in about 2 seconds.

(Zone 7b)

Gorgeous animals.. I bet they are your best friends as mine are to me :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great looking dogs. When do they start class on learning how to pollinate? :-)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi from Ashley, Tlynn's daughter, beautiful dogs.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Hi People wau wau,
thank´s for all the compliments.
I don´t like to learn how to pollinate Brugs. In this case Ludger would have still much more seedpods....he sometimes must walk with us and not only care for the Brugs.
I think it´s ok to watch the Brugs - growing new Brugs is Ludgers.
Greetings
Barni Duke and Schnecke ( the little Lady at my back at the first picture )

Ludger, I love your dogs, they're gorgeous.

Nobody ever tries to steal my brugs with Oscar and Molly watching them. You've seen Oscar, he's my Boxer baby and Molly is a black shepherd cross bitch.
