Cala, The Isabella you sent me, :-)

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

Cala, Thought you might like to see how well the Isabella cutting you sent me is doing, :-) This is my best growing brug! Mike has been using his FFF (his special fertilizer mix) on it and it's growing gang busters! I can't wait for it to bloom, :-)

Thanks again Cala for all the great cuttings you have sent.

Wow! Nice job Annie. It's beautiful. A good example of what a large pot, fertilizer and some TLC will do.

snow, I also give credit to the very healthy cutting Cala sent. This pot isn't it's final home though. I just haven't gotten around to getting the huge pots from my BIL yet.

Wow Annie, it looks great. You've(or was it Mike) taken great care of it.

LOL, look at all those pots lined up across her yard! Unfortunately that is the first symptom of the devasting and at times fatal disease called Brugmania!! Soon they will be covering her lawn.............. and then it is only a matter of time.

great looking brugs Fl.Suncoast!!

LOL Kell, the addiction has already taken a hard hold on me. You should see the pots of brugs on the other side of the yard, in front, in the hardening area and in the mist house. I refuse to count them at this point as I am sure I have WAY TO MANY, NOT!!!!! LOL Is there such a thing as too many brugs.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well then I am sad to tell you Fl Suncoast.......You are entering the last stages of Brugmania and you are a GONER!!! but what a way to go.......................

They are looking beautiful. Good job!

The next phase has symptoms like: I gotta have one of every color, I gotta have one of every available variety, I need an APHIS permit to have the Europeans and the final phase is when you are seen in the garden with an artist brush and syringe cover(medicine bottle, film canister, etc) hybridizing brugs.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It must be a sight for sore eyes at your place. Would love to see more. Mike is certainly doing all the right things.

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9a)

Brugie, Mike is beyond amazing! And to think that he never grew anything but a few plants indoors. His grandfather was also an exceptional gardener. Mike's Dad tells us that he is totally amazed to see how our garden has gone from barely grass covered at the end of July to what it is today. I still have 3 flats of brugs I started from seed that are only about 8 inches tall that now need to be potted up, lol. That's another 45 to find pots for and the space to put the pots.

Cala, OH Gosh, what is a "APHIS" permit? Do I want to know? I already have Mike working on what I will need to hybridizing brugs. At last count, I now have 18 varities that I know what they are and about 6 that I don't, LOL. I already want one of each varity and color that I can find. Does that mean that I am now uncurable??? I sure hope so!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I definitely feel that you are in the incurable stage but you are in such good company. Your Isabella is so pretty and green and you will love it even more when it blooms.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

A very healthy, happy looking brug. Incurable?? Why would you want to cure it? It's a pleasure and a gift. That's my story - the one I keep repeating to my non-gardening DH when he gripes about not being able to get anywhere near HIS stuff.
