Veris. Peach

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

This is the last one . . I promise. I cannot tell you how many buds I find on the ground each morning due to our nights being in the upper 50's. I am just so happy that I am getting some blooms.

She sure looks good though. Nice and healthy. Great shape to her too. You did good Frannie. I don't think my buds fell until the temps got down into the upper thirties. Then they really dropped. May have been low forties, but higher than that, they stayed on. I had more drop after I moved them into the garage than when they were outside.

another pretty one. 40s tonight, but you know i've been losing buds anyway. ms frannie, maybe all your rain has made some buds fall also.

Brugie . . do you think there could be some kind of insect cutting the blooms off. The plants don't appear to be damaged. I just assumed it was because of the 17 days of rain and then the cooler night temps.

I think you Arlene have the right idea. Too much moisture. I don't know that for a fact, but it sure stands to reason. I doubt that it is any bug. What kind could live through 17 days of rain? :-)

It's been 44 for the last 2 nights here and I haven't lost any blooms either.

Great looking plant. Doesn't make you sick when they drop all the buds that way.
